The District Mineral Foundations (DMFs) will implement the Pradhan Mantri Khanij Kshetra Kalyan Yojana (PMKKKY) using fund accrued to the DMF in respective District. The main objective of the PMKKKY plan is to implement developmental and welfare projects that would ensure the sustainable livelihoods for the residents of mine affected villages. Further, to minimize the adverse impacts, during and after mining, on the environment, health and socio-economics of people in mining districts/villages.
